DANGER Rock The Night 13/03-09

Friday night it was time for Rock The Night where Danger was warming up for Zodiak Mindwarp.  The doors opened at 9pm and Danger went on stage just before 11pm.  They started with a lot of energy, so it was unclear if it was a stadium concert or Rock The Night with a couple hundred people.  Songs like First Touch, Miss Money and Hey You were played in a way that you wondered why Danger never had a CD release and they are still a fairly new band. They played as though they have been playing together for many years.

They got the audience along for the ride as the concert progressed, hot RTN chicks and rock dudes filled the area right in front of the stage. They shot off the classic lines that they are so happy that Denmark has welcomed them so well, so now they wanted to invite everyone on a trip to California. From that the hit California Red was played, a typical sleaze song with cool solo's and awesome vocals from Jesse Kid. It seemed like it was the only song the the fans really knew, because everyone was singing along.

After that they played On The Run and then another song that got the crowd going Shove it..up your azz... The concert ended with a little fire show where Rob Paris(guitar) and Danny Cräsh's drumsticks were spitting fire...Awesome show for a little venue like Stengade 30.  All in all Danger played for about 40 min. with a great show where there was full energy start to finish.  It is definitely not the last time I'll be seeing them live and am looking forward to the release of their debut album.  As of right now they have an EP "First Tuch" with 6 songs on it.

Yet again it is unreal with the quality of the Swedish bands right now.  Here's  a band that has yet to release a CD and they blew the roof off of Stengade.  If they had been Danish, they would without a doubt be the hottest sleazeband, but in Sweden they have a pile of bands blending them out.  They clearly live and breathe for the music...that's something you don't really see here in Denmark right now.  Keep sleazing DANGER.
